Natalie couldn’t remember a moment of her life where she didn’t thought about dying. Sometimes a violent death, sometimes a calm one in silence hanging on a rope.
Otherwise Travis was pathologically afraid of death, it was a thought that consumed his head since he could remember.
And sometimes, when you’re so afraid of something like living concerned or not living at all, the only thing that can calm you down is someone so opposite that would give yourself a chance to rethink your fears a little bit.

Natalie had four days to prepare for prom.
Four days to secure a dress, secure some booze, and secure a date that she wouldn't regret the next morning after her hangover. The first two were pretty easy, it was the third box that the girl just couldn't seem to check off.
Natalie Scatorccio loved to half-ass things, whether it be school, relationships, and anything that wasn't soccer or smoking. That way she had an easy excuse for when things didn't go right.
But for some reason, things felt different with Travis. The feeling in her chest wasn't something she knew too well; but she was ready to explore it, even if it meant stumbling in the process.
