The joke is, there's little reason for him to even go to school. He already did his entrance exams to an academy in Shinjuku he'd eyed in the past year. It was a technical school, and it had good connections to a few reputable industries his engineering skills would be good at.
Was it what he truly wanted to do? Far from it, but at the rate he was going, he needed a backup plan. Plus, he'd get to tinker with technology he can't access on his own time. That sounded fun enough.
In an alternate world, junior high student Kamishiro Rui makes a typo when searching for an electronics tutorial online. He finds a song written by an anonymous composer named "K," and discovers a few of the benefits of having an online presence.

Kanade was digging into her closet for the manual to one of her music equipment pieces.
Frankly, upon Kanade realizing her equipment was broken to a point of unusability, Mafuyu had to convince her to step back and at least tidy up her bedroom so finding the equipment manual would be easier. One look at her closet and Mafuyu knew both of them would get buried under cardboard boxes and piles of folders.
Though this was the case, Mafuyu knew for a fact that it has been three hours since they started looking for the manual.

“Well, Mafuyu,” he spoke condescendingly, “if you want to continue with your plans to become one with the shadows, then expect to not have enough magic to fight whoever finds us.”

Where had it all gone wrong?
He’d simply been writing recent events that happened. Dream, after months of manipulation and tyranny, had been placed in Pandora’s Vault due to the fact that he had something called a ‘Revival Book’ and he could bring people back to life with it. Then, the people rejoiced, and were glad that he was gone and could never return to wreak havoc upon them again.
It should’ve been a good thing for Ranboo. The same person that drove Tommy to the point of suicide, that nearly killed Tubbo to hammer in the final nail in Tommy’s coffin, that manipulated not only Tommy but everyone to not look for the truth, that destroyed what was once the grand nation of L’Manberg, and that triggered his Enderwalk state to use for his own benefit.
It was a good thing. He couldn’t find the reason why he felt so terrified.
