  Summary

The joke is, there's little reason for him to even go to school. He already did his entrance exams to an academy in Shinjuku he'd eyed in the past year. It was a technical school, and it had good connections to a few reputable industries his engineering skills would be good at.

Was it what he truly wanted to do? Far from it, but at the rate he was going, he needed a backup plan. Plus, he'd get to tinker with technology he can't access on his own time. That sounded fun enough.

  ---

In an alternate world, junior high student Kamishiro Rui makes a typo when searching for an electronics tutorial online. He finds a song written by an anonymous composer named "K," and discovers a few of the benefits of having an online presence.

(This is a unit-swap AU where Rui ends up in N25.)

  Summary

Yoisaki Kanade is a solo producer, lyricist, illustrator and video editor for every single one of her songs. She has to do what it takes to make up for her sins.

How much can she truly bear on her own?
  -
Mochizuki Honami chose to keep her feelings silent, no matter how hard her beloved childhood friends tried to reach her. If it meant she could never be hated again, she would bury every single part of herself until nothing remained.

Her friends would be able to find someone that isn't a disloyal person like her.
  -
Kiritani Haruka used to be an idol, and was a beloved member of ASRUN. Though she may never stand on the stage once again, she is content with seeing others filled with hope for the stage just as she once was.

It wasn't her place to rob anyone else of their dreams.
  -
Kamishiro Rui is a solo showman filled with many ideas that he dedicates day and night to bringing to life. No matter how much he dreams of creating shows that will make lasting impacts with cherished friends, it's too farfetched of a dream to be realistic.

His loneliness is a price he must pay for his greediness.
  -
A train station awaits those that carry the guilt of their pasts.

  Summary

“I think I left the manual somewhere in here…”

Kanade was digging into her closet for the manual to one of her music equipment pieces.

Frankly, upon Kanade realizing her equipment was broken to a point of unusability, Mafuyu had to convince her to step back and at least tidy up her bedroom so finding the equipment manual would be easier. One look at her closet and Mafuyu knew both of them would get buried under cardboard boxes and piles of folders.

Though this was the case, Mafuyu knew for a fact that it has been three hours since they started looking for the manual.

  -

Kanade's mixer breaks, and Mafuyu has to put Rui on speed-dial for a quick repair.
It gets a little... more serious that she was expecting.

  Summary

Of course she was here for the tutoring session. She held up a finger and carefully pressed the red button.

Her hand flinched back when the drone spoke in response.

“Two! Thank you for signing up.” it robotically greeted.

Amazed, Mafuyu walked onto the grass and away from the dirt path.

  “Oh?”

  Mafuyu jumped and whirled around.

He looked at his phone and tapped it a few times, then added, “I didn’t expect the winner of the Shibuya Mathematics Contest to be here.”

  -

or; one choice led to the main story, but if one observant glance can change the course of it, would you take that choice?
No... I wouldn't. Not if this was the outcome.
