007n7 was a star. Bright, radiant, and stunning. He was a warm light against the harrowing, infinite darkness of empty space. He was a guiding marker for those who’d lost their way and he was hope for the hopeless.
Noli was the void. Dark, cold, and all-consuming. Worse than space, he was not infinite, dark, or dead; he was alive, and he was violent, and hungry, with an insatiable craving for something to fill the deafening, gaping space that made up his very being.
Darkness was merely an absence of light, and now that Noli had found it, he would swallow it whole. He would consume it with all the fury of a desperate, dying animal, all teeth and claws, and sink his fangs down into the throat of it. He would bring cities to soil and earth to dust, would bring galaxies to ruin, would tear the very matter of the universe apart, if it meant it could not leave. And it could not, because he would not let it.
His light in the dark. His warmth in the cold. His Voidstar.

Despite his conflicted feelings, Medkit cares enough about his colleague, Subspace, not to leave him. If he left, Subspace would despise him, rightfully so. And without Subspace, Medkit would be all alone out there.
Subspace is satisfied with what he has: a plan to achieve greatness and a hardworking coworker by his side. He never did put effort into becoming any closer than colleagues with Medkit, he didn't see the need for it.

At the time, Bad merely smiled at Skeppy, promising to love the egg if given enough time alone, and Skeppy believed it. He wanted his friend to love the Egg as much as he did. He wanted them to stop fighting and be together again. Hence, Skeppy beckoned Sam and Hannah to leave, giving Bad the space he wanted.
That was the worst mistake that Skeppy could ever make in his life.
Skeppy thought if he showed Bad The Egg, he would like it too. Then they could still be best friends and they won’t have to worry about anything coming into their friendship! But it all unravels when Skeppy realizes just how far Bad will go to save him.
