Before Aventurine could fully process the odd statement, he felt Boothill lean into his neck to bite him. A pained gasp escaped the pinned blonde. For a moment it felt like two knitting needles were stabbing into his skin. Instinctively he attempted to shove the larger man off him, but it was a shockingly futile effort -- like attempting to move a six-foot tall boulder. Boothill didn’t budge a centimeter.
Aventurine then became cognizant of a sucking sensation at his neck; blood was leaving his body.
But within seconds, the bizarre happened.
