When his tears abated, he slowly raised his head, and Simon held up some tissues to his nose. “Blow, you disgusting creature.”
A snort huffed out of him. “I already have snot all over your coat, why bother?” He took a tissue and blew his nose, then dried his eyes with another. Then he stuffed the used tissues down the neck of Simon’s coat. “That’s for being mean to me when I’m sad.”
Simon made a face as he pulled out the tissues and put them in his pocket. “You’re gross and you’re lucky I love you.”
He stroked Simon’s cheek, and kissed him. “I really am.”
Or, Wille pays a visit one year later.

Summary
I discovered Young Royals this summer and fell in love. I think the ending is perfect for the show, allowing for both closure and enough openness to be fertile ground for the fandom's imagination.
HOWEVER. After cogitating on it for a few weeks and reading a LOT of fanfic, I realised that in order for me to buy any kind of canon compliant happy ending for Wilmon, I needed to see much more character growth, development, and conversation happening. Hence these stories. Hope you enjoy!

Summary
It's not easy dealing with sudden fame, as Simon can attest to when one of his live performances goes viral and puts an international spotlight on him and his quite intimate debut album. It's even harder when said album is about his ex who's long moved on after shattering Simon's entire world two years ago. His ex, who with every passing day is more likely to hear the obvious reference to himself in Simon's most famous song and realize that Simon is far from over him.

“What are you doing here Wille?” The cabinet door slams closed and they both jump at the sound. He winces, setting down the mug with slightly shaking hands.
“Let’s try this again.” Simon closes his eyes to rub at his temple in frustration. He tries to school his voice and expression into something calmer and more nonchalant than he feels; “What are you doing in front of my home without any kind of warning? It’s been nearly three years, Wille. You understand that you can’t just do that, right?”
OR
Simon is at a turning point in his new fast paced life in the city of London. He’s finally landed a major breakout role onstage, in the West End revival of the musical Spring Awakening. It seems as though all of his stars are finally aligning.
Things take a turn when Wilhelm, who still lives in Stockholm and now works as a fashion designer after giving up his title, shows up out of the blue with a request that leaves him feeling blindsided and unmoored.
The past and the present find themselves tangled together as they are forced to confront their past mistakes, their lingering feelings toward one another and the secrets of their relationship which still keep them tied together.

It's not his fault he's not familar with up and coming Latino pop artists that look good dancing in clubs.
It's not his fault it takes the internet approximately thirty two seconds to piece it all together.
It's not his fault the Royal Court released that statement.Simon doesn't exactly see it that way.

Or Wille and Simon hook up and when Wille denies their association Simon snaps back with a diss track.
Wille's kinda into that though.
