“I know,” Geta replied gently.
As if he truly understood, what Caracalla felt before he had even managed to voice his emotions aloud. That’s just how he was, wasn’t it? Geta was always right, always knew better. When they were children, Caracalla thought it was a gift. Now, it seemed more like a curse. Whatever he will say, Geta won’t be surprised by his remorse. He won’t notice the change growing within him, hesitant and fragile, like a bird too weak to break through its eggshell.
“Forgive me. I was wrong. I’m sorry.”

Matsuda’s not sure what’s wrong with him. He didn’t eat anything off recently. His head isn’t killing him, so it’s not a migraine or a concussion or anything. He’s not coughing or congested so he doubts it’s the cold or flu. Maybe it’s just a bad day…
Matsuda groans softly as his guts flip again. He rocks back and forth slightly, burying his nose in the crux of his elbow. His back is starting to ache from his hitting position. It’s highly uncomfortable.
“Ow… Damn it…” Matsuda grumbles as something cramps in his lower abdomen. He instinctively wants to guard the area, but he’s sure his head will drop off his shoulders and roll away if he lets go of it. He’s getting dizzier.
The room spins around him. At least the tension of his insides lets up quickly. There’s still some vague soreness, but the sink passing in a loop around his peripheral vision for the fifth time is distracting. He leans into the porcelain. He feels like he could fall over at any moment. His muscles are starting to shake from the effort of staying upright.
