Avery clicks his tongue. “They’re only bad form when they’re done to me. I, however, can do what I want.”
D3r shakes his head and looks upwards, tapping his foot like he’s above the game that Avery is playing. He waits until Avery leans a little further out from his cover to strike, quickly kneeling down to scoop some snow and fling it at him. Avery squawks and ducks back into his hiding spot just in time to avoid it.
“Bad form!” Cries the pillar.

“Um, how are you feeling? I tried to treat you as best I could, but I’m not a doctor, obviously. Ha, ha,” there’s an awkward pause. Avery hates awkward pauses. “Oh uh- my name is-”
“Avery,” the knight interrupts.
Avery blinks at him. “You, uh, you know my name? Sorry, do we know each other?” Avery hadn’t recognized him.
The knight shifts. “...Do we- I don’t…” He takes a moment to continue, “...I know you.”
That’s not ominous at all. Avery feels a little caught off guard, here. “Right… I don’t recognize your armor. What’s your name?”
The knight takes a beat to respond. “I don’t… I can’t remember what it is.”
Avery raises an eyebrow - well, the slime above his left eye. “You remember my name, but not your own?”
“...Yes.”

After the information overloads his brain, D3rlord3 can’t remember anything. Except for Avery.
Avery just wanted to get away from the city server for a bit. He finds a guy passed out in a mine he didn’t make.

“You-” Ygraine said, stepping up to point a finger in Uther’s face. “You are a liar and a murderer. The fact you think someone as sweet and caring as Vivienne is destined to marry you is a tragedy in itself, but if you expect me to hand over my brother’s rightful claim to Camelot’s throne-”
“My claim to Camelot’s throne,” Uther threw back, face growing more red as Arthur looked between his parents in utter bewilderment. Merlin didn’t blame him. He had envisioned Uther and Ygraine’s love story to be more… well, less based in war and battles.
Ygraine’s eyes narrowed as she grabbed a goblet of wine and threw it in Uther’s face. A few of the guards shifted, but Uther only raised a hand to pause them, spitting out the wine with furious eyes.
“You,” Ygraine said coldly. “Are unworthy to sit upon a stool, let alone a throne.”
From a few feet away, Balinor scoffed as he sipped from his own goblet. “I kind of like having her as a hostage, Uther. She livens up the place.”

The Riddler halts. Pauses.
“What the fuck, dude?” He finally exclaims, breaking all melodramatic pretenses and slamming his hands down on the table, “Either listen to the goddamn riddle or let me kill you so we can get this exchange over with!”
Peter nods, “Sorry, sorry, my bad on that one. I finally remembered the word I was thinking of. Here, let’s make a deal this time - cross my heart I’ll keep it - so if I can’t solve your riddle you get to…” Peter gestures, leaving it open ended, and the Riddler seems to perk up.
“Kill you in a blaze of glory,” he finishes, primly, and the melodrama returns as he crosses his legs and re-steeples his hands, “And if you win? I must be fair, after all.”
“Uhh… would you mind telling me where I am?”
OR
Peter's greatest enemy is time management and also maybe the hoard of superheroes that are crawling all over Gotham.
(The Amazing Spider-Man version of Peter Parker - don't have to watch the movies to understand, but there are references to the films.)
