It is a cautionary clause for your son so that in the case that something were to happen that there is an adult available to make decisions on Mr.Drake’s behalf. In the case that neither parent can be reached, or another guardian, Mr.Wayne is able to step in and fill that role.”
The names Jack Drake and Janet Drake are signed in a neat cursive over the signature boxes and sent back to Bruce’s email.

An odd, yet not unexpected comment from the man. It was almost enough to give Tim reason to break the facade. “I suppose that forest over there, the one in all grays,” he forced out, merely picking the first one in his line of sight.
Then, just when he’d hoped the answer would be enough to end the conversation, the comment he’d dreaded from the moment Edmund approached finally reared its head.
“Aha, fascinating choice. Your mother loved those kinds of simple works. Her face and her appreciation for the arts, you really are just like her aren’t you?”

So when she gets hit with some kind of gas, and ends up in what appears to be an alternate dimension, she's not particularly worried.
...But when she realizes that she has no civilian identity and no allies? Or that some of her actions may have changed the timeline in ways she didn't know to predict? Or when she can't call on Oracle, or Tim or Cass or Bruce or anyone she knows for help with a case she hadn't seen coming? She starts to think maybe this situation isn't so temporary, and maybe she should be at least a little worried.
