“Anyway, as I was saying...I had a crush on him.” Momo stops as she fidgets with her hair, thinking about what to say.
“So you had a crush on Ken Takakura, the actor. You couldn’t say my name because I happened to share his name?”
“Yeah,” She says quietly. “But I’m in love with Ken Takakura.” Her face flushes as she looks at a confused Okarun.
“Wait, I thought you said you used to have a crush on him.”
“I did.”
“But you just said, ‘I am in love with Ken Takakura.’ Which one is it? The actor?” He asked, clearly confused.
“No, not the actor. The other one.” She stares at him fondly as she watches Ken trying to connect the dots.
“Ah, I see the other one,” he says, lost in thought. He scratches his head as he thinks. The other one…. I guess her heart belongs to someone else, then.

It’s not that it’s a bad idea. In all honesty, Ezran thinks it’s a well thought-out, completely reasonable, perfectly sound idea that could solve a lot of his own problems, Callum’s problems, and Katolis’ problems, in one fell swoop - if it works, that is. It’s a little risky, he’ll admit, but it’s not the same as, say, running away from home at ten years old with his brother and a Moonshadow elf assassin (whose mission was to kill him, mind) to return a dragon egg in the midst of a centuries-long war, and hey, they’d managed that all right. Compared to that mess, politics should be easy, right?

Allura continued, “He seemed to have cracked his helmet while on Xanfor. He breathed in what I assume to have been a substantial enough amount of its atmosphere.”
“Substantial enough for…what?” Lance questioned, beginning to feel his own worry for his teammate bubble up in his chest. He and Keith may have a competitive rivalry going, but it was all friendly! He did still care for his hot-headed, slightly annoying teammate!
Allura hummed, as if trying to think of a response. Eventually, she said, “Xanfor’s atmosphere…if enough of it is breathed into an organism’s body, it can alter chromosomes.”
“Wait, so…” Lance’s mind was whirling. Chromosomes? Like DNA? Is Keith going to die?!?
“It changed Keith…to a female.”]

Eddie feels his stomach knot up. It’s the first time Chris has ever alluded to a willingness to come home. Usually he just shoots Eddie down with a flat “I know” before hurrying off the call. Eddie Diaz will be damned before he lets this chance slip through his hands.
“Anything,” his voice rings with desperation in his own ears, “Whatever you need to feel ready to come home. If I can make it happen, I will.”
Chris eyes him, young face serious as a judge presiding over trial. An apt comparison because only Chris could condemn or parole Eddie. His fate is in his son’s hands so completely that if he was going to therapy, Frank would probably be concerned. Finally, Chris opens his mouth and says something so earth shattering as to crack the foundations of his father’s mind.

He opens up the browser, and it’s a faux pas to look at someone else’s browser history, it’s not like Chris doesn’t know that, but there’s only one way that Chris is ever going to know what his dad is thinking and doing, and that’s by snooping, because god forbid his dad actually communicate. The last thing on there is a soup recipe that they actually had for dinner a few days ago. It was good, even if it took forever. What catches Chris’ eye, though, is the website name. Eating with Eddie. How embarrassing to choose a recipe just because you have the same name as the blog owner. What a dad move.
