Being Lapin Blanc was a freeing experience. He could laugh, smile, even be snarky, without worrying about upsetting people. It was weird to think about, but hiding under the mask let him be who he was always scared to be - himself.
Evan loved being a miraculous holder. From the rush of leaping across buildings, to the simple feeling of sitting with his Kwami. It made him happy. Yeah, he still struggled with his anxiety and the occasional panic attack, but it helped having an escape. He wasn't okay yet, but he was getting there.

Many of Voldemort's devotees have never been caught. Because of that, Harry's father instilled in him a level of paranoia to rival any seasoned veteran, promising him that they could attack them at any moment.
Braced for danger, Harry enters Hogwarts prepared to take a Killing Curse for his brother. However, when the semester begins, it's him who dark witches and wizards fixate on!
2026 "Update": I'm working on this. But I'm rewriting 120,000+. It takes time (keep in mind it took 2018-2021 for me to get to the original 22 chapters that I've deleted most of). Anyway, check ch. 1 and 2 for links to the updated (but only partially edited) versions of those chapters.

Summary
The Dursleys tried to hate Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Ruined-Their-Lives, but always found that his freakish charm wound up making his own life easier. Petunia would scream at the boy to scrub the dishes free of leftover grease from Dudley's breakfast, and soon she would wind up doing it herself. Marge would sic her hound on the child, only for the child to charm not only the dog but all nearby wildlife.
No matter how hard they tried, Harry Potter could not just stay miserable- as he grew into his looks, he also grew better at staying innocent from all his "freakish" crimes. Vernon was close to going bald from pulling out his hair at this point, so when Potter's owl arrived, he decided that there really was no point in trying anymore, and to just let the boy unleash his freakishly enchanting aura onto the other weirdos and mistakes of the Wizarding World.
At least it wasn't him being subjected to it anymore.

Lance has been the scape-goat for too long- it's just taking a while for him to realise. When he finally does, he knows it's high and mighty time to pay attention to those that actually matter.
Like the people (aliens?) that genuinely care about him- and the Lions. They're ridiculously sentient and even have physical forms- who knew?Oh, and at some point, an overly grateful elder gives him a slight modification to his DNA- and it kinda turns him half-alien?
And like, Lotor's generals are super chill, the world isn't so bad (as long as he doesn't think too much), and maybe he can enjoy it after all??
