Mike gestures at the laptop in front of him. “Working.”
“If you were working, you’d be at your desk,” Harvey says, and when he takes a clipped step forward, Mike realizes he’s in trouble.
“You’d be at your desk, where I can find you when I need you." Harvey’s arm drops down on the table, pinning Mike against the edge as he stares down at him. "So I’m going to repeat myself one more time. What are you doing?”
...
When Kyle points out that Mike is always being babysat by Harvey, they make a bet. Mike just has to spend less than ten hours with Harvey in a work week. It'll be easy.

Harvey cracked one eye open, found Mike's face close to his, and instead of pulling back he leaned in and kissed him, slow and unhurried, morning-breath and all, because six years of pretending not to want this had apparently used up his entire lifetime allotment of restraint. When he pulled away he pressed his forehead against Mike's for a second, just breathing him in.
"A hundred and sixty-eight days," Harvey said, voice still rough with sleep, "until you marry me."
There it was. That warm, stupid, full-body flush that Mike had never once managed to suppress, not in a month of Harvey doing this, dropping the countdown into conversations like loose change, like it cost him nothing to say and everything to mean.
A hundred and sixty-eight days.

But occasionally she’ll curl up on her sofa wearing the shirt she stole out of his desk and listen to Suzanne Vega croon through her headphones about Dean and Bogart and the streets of New York.
Sometimes, when she’s a glutton for punishment, she puts on Now, Voyager and dreams of Grand Central Station wreathed in black and white, Harvey stood on the platform saying “Don’t ask for the moon, kid, I already gave you the stars.”
Occasionally, she goes truly nuts and dreams of Harvey down on one knee, instead.
