Summary
Lestat is…he doesn’t know. A late quarter-life crisis, maybe, or a very early middle-life one. A way to satisfy a curiosity he didn’t know he had until he met Lestat. A distraction from a boring marriage or a way to generate some excitement in what had become an easy life.
Louis can't decide which is more accurate, and it was making the whole thing all the more exciting and all the more disturbing.

Summary
Louis is so clearly struggling, eyes big and glazed looking up at Lestat pleadingly. He’s embarrassed. Lestat knows this and can’t help the shiver it sends up his spine, the smell of his shame mixed with fresh blood from an earlier kill has Lestat on edge.
He feels more like a predator now than he did when he hunted their food.
Lestat has made Louis into a predator but he will always remain prey to Lestat.

Louis shifts faintly in the sheets, thighs tightening, hips lifting as though seeking relief. A flush spreads across his throat, down his chest, a bloom of heat that draws Lestat’s hand lower without thought. The pulse has quickened. His breath comes shorter, a man coming undone even in his dreams.
And Lestat knows now what it is. Un rêve humide, unfolding in silence.
Lestat is endlessly fascinated by his human counterpart Louis.

Summary
“But how do I?” Lestat whispers, a genuine question.
It’s slightly adorable and Louis can’t help but smile. This monster, this creature Louis knows to be afraid of him— who has torn apart limbs and scooped out chunks of flesh and smashed bones with his bare hands— looks at Louis with a delicate fear of hurting him in his actions— unsure how to devour his own lover.
It is nothing new. It is everything new.
Louis grabs ahold of Lestat’s chin— thumb gliding over the soft pad of his bottom lip. He presses his thumb in to Lestat’s mouth, forcing his lips to part and grant him access. He presses down, other fingers on Lestat’s chin guiding him to open his mouth fully, to widen his jaw so his teeth are on full display like a wolf ready to bite.
“It’s the easiest thing Lestat. Just love me. Love me and eat.”

Pucci snorts and turns a page but when Dio fails to join in or deliver a punchline, he glances up. Dio watches him with an expectant expression.
“You’re joking.” Pucci says.
