“I’m fine, I’ll be fine. Everyone knows that an injured Deliverer is just as useful as an unharmed Deliverer. So please.” He glanced up, his eyes glassy, welling with tears. “Before you leave. Please?”
Unfortunately, Mydei could never say no to him. He can only manage one disapproving huff.
Phainon whines, “Mydei…”
Mydei sighs, “Fine.”
It was an unspoken game they played. Phainon liked to pull, Mydei liked to push. In the end, they had the same goal. Wasn’t their arrangement enough?
Both of them knew it, but neither of them would acknowledge it. This would be the last night before Mydei left for good.

Summary
Kaoru was on Rei’s bed. Rei was asleep and Kaoru was frozen solid, as if a spell had been put on him. The Rei Sakuma, now his legs and arms entangled with the blond’s, sleeping right next to him.
And this was all Kaoru’s fault, for wanting to come over.
