    Basically, double agent Hawks slowly opening up, and Dabi beginning to let him in.

    Also, defying the title, there isn't actually too much cooking. It's more a reference to something later.

    Hawks staggered in through the doorway. His hero jacket was torn down one sleeve, half hanging off his arm. Blood soaked through the fabric in dark, alarming splotches. One wing dragged along the floor behind him, lacking most of the feathers.

    Dabi’s flames extinguished. Hawks merely stood there, eyes unfocused and glassy, swaying on his feet.

    “… Hawks?” Dabi tried.

    Or; Dabi gets caught up in his weird enemies with benefits situation with Hawks when the hero stumbles in, injured and in urgent need of care.
