He nods eagerly. Yes. Yes, he does. Is it embarrassing? God, Jisung hopes not, because he stands no chance of holding any feelings back, here. He feels weirdly vulnerable, even though Hyunjin is the one who’s half-naked and crawling all over him.
Oh, he realizes distantly. This is a lap dance? He’s giving Jisung a lap dance? In front of the smattering of old men who go to a strip club on a Tuesday?
Or: Jisung isn't quite sure what Hyunjin means when he says he's a dancer.

never ever has a fic reminded me so viscerally of my own gay awakening. the yearning, jealousy, angst... it all feels too personal and too real. opening those parts of myself again was hard but definitely also helped me understand myself better. i love fics like this that help me analyze my own past experiences and come to terms with feelings that are painful to remember, and it feels really cathartic. catharsis is a really powerful thing and i'm thankful for every story that gives me the chance to reflect like this.
