Honestly Lucy thought her editor and agent were stupid. She had been living in the city of Magnolia for three months and she’s made about three friends and only one of those friends keeps daily and consistent contact with her. This whole ‘city life experience’ Loke kept insisting she needed to have to be able to write was becoming the biggest fluke she had ever forced herself into. Sure the apartment she moved into was beautiful and Magnolia itself was gorgeous, she just didn’t understand this whole experience she was supposed to be having.
