Soonyoung’s eyes flutter open, going wide as an idea finally occurs to him. “That’s it!”
“Are you asking me to put on a skirt?” Seokmin asks, his eyes curving into small crescents as he smiles. “Because I don’t think I have the legs for it.”
“No,” Soonyoung says, shaking his head and sitting up now. “But I can tell my parents you’re who I’m dating.”

Modern MDZS AU where a frustrated Lan Zhan hires Wei Wuxian off of craigslist to pretend to be his boyfriend in order to stop his uncle’s matchmaking attempts. Turns out, it’s mutually beneficial.

He stretches out his legs, “I just didn’t think my thoughts mattered in a fake conversation.” He stands up with a yawn.
“How was it a ‘fake conversation’, Hyung? We were all sitting in here together talking.”
“No, Namjoon-ah. You were talking and saying things that are empirically accurate so that everyone else in the room could say, ‘Wow, Namjoon-ah you’re so smart’, ‘Namjoon-ah you’re so thoughtful’, ‘Oh, Namjoon-ah you’re so good with your words’. Which is fine to want validation for your ideas but, a circle jerk isn’t a conversation.”

Yoongi shifts uncomfortably in his seat, avoiding making eye contact.
