But when a security sweep traps them in a narrow, dead-end corridor, Rey makes a split-second tactical decision to hide their identities the only way she can think of: a distraction.
It’s meant to be a performance. A ruse. Ten minutes of "looking busy" to avoid a firing squad. But the Force Dyad doesn't know how to lie, and Ben Solo is a very, very convincing actor. She struggled to breathe as he moved more. Only a bit, but oh, it was…it was too much. It was…he was going to…
“We’ll have your wardrobe tailored so you can wear it, have it always in reach.”
Actually, perhaps it wasn’t so bad. Tentatively, Rey lifted one foot, trailing it along his calf to hook behind his thigh and he groaned.
“Just here, I think,” he said, stroking the side of her thigh. “Slits in your gowns, or tunics and hose. A dagger, a sword.”
