Of course, who is Rouge truly if she's not just a tad bit mischievous? She obviously had to invite Sonic and Amy to her club to make sure they got a good look at Shadow rocking this weekend's theme. Rouge even gave Sonic the perfect idea to take Shadow into one of the private rooms and make him "dance" for the hero's entertainment.
There was no way in hell Shadow was dancing for Sonic.

Shadow made an attempt, swallowing, parting his lips to speak, but when his gaze flickered to the floor, then hesitantly to Sonic, whatever words he had dissolved. His quills bristled and his face flushed.
“You should go home,” he said, then turned on his heel, went into his room, and slammed the door.
“Wha—no, Shadow, c’mon, man,” Sonic whined. But the only response he got was a click of the door’s lock.

Shadow’s being difficult—avoiding Sonic and ignoring his texts and calls. Sonic is at a loss until Amy lets him in on a little secret.
