Agatha left Rio in the dust after she told her how that boy wasn't hers, nothing could send her back. Well, that was until she eavesdropped on the other's speaking amongst themselves. As their words swirled in her mind, the witch found herself storming back to find Rio. Maybe curse her out, make amends, fight her- she didn't know. Simply mocking them as she walked,
“Stupid Jen, I'd kill to be loved like that”
Agatha muttered, repeating Jen’s words with a high pitched voice.
“It’s rare that sort of love,” She scoffed, waving her hands in the air with her words. “Heart beats for me, breaths for me, whatever- Never asked her to do any of that crap!”
Whatever, she didn't ask Rio to love her. So why the hell was she running back to her?

Agatha, operating from Tommy Maximoff's assertion that his mother can fix even death, decides to take a new tack in testing Wanda's powers, thinking that maybe life inside The Hex can be acceptable to her if she can only have her son Nicky back. Unfortunately, her ploy works a little too well, leading even Death Herself to become ensnared within the Maximoff Anomaly.

Agatha looked down, and sure enough, there she was. Rio Vidal, Lady Death, and Agatha’s wife stood tall. “Agatha, darling,” she greeted softly. “Walk with me?”
The purple glow of Agatha’s celestial Magick brightened just slightly. Rio had chosen to face her in that infuriatingly beautiful human form.
“I’m surprised you’re not here as your true self,” Agatha said, the set of her mouth firm and unwavering, not at all how she felt. “I mean honestly, Rio, your wife becomes a higher being and you can’t even appear to her as Lady Death?”
Rio’s dark eyes shone. “This is the form you fell in love with,” she said quietly, extending a hand out to Agatha. “Now will you please walk with me?”

Rio glowers at the man and growls, her voice demonic, “I will stab you in the asshole.”
He lets out a high-pitched shriek, his eyes widening in fear and smile dropping instantly. The man quickly retreats, but not before Rio snatches his drink from his hand. She flips him off, sipping on whatever gross spiced alcohol he'd gotten. Leave it to a man to disrupt her one night off in forever.
Grimacing, Rio turns back and—
Agatha is staring right at her, her mouth curled into the tiniest of smirks.
(In which Agatha doesn't sacrifice herself, Rio takes Billy instead and as promised, leaves Agatha alone until they accidentally meet a long time later on Christmas Eve.)
