To convince the public that they don’t hate each other, famous actors Kaveh and Alhaitham pretend to be in a relationship. Too bad they actually hate each other.
At least, Kaveh thinks they do.

An intentional strike of lightning touches down between him and the gate, with a crack that silences the crowd and makes the hairs on Kazuha’s arms stand up. The Raiden Shogun stares down at him like her people aren’t looking to her, afraid and desperate for answers.
Kazuha grips his sword with both hands and feels his Vision pulse.
“Kazuha,” the Raiden Shogun says impersonally, with the same regard one would offer a doorknob, “is a threat to the future of this nation.”
Kazuha is to be made an example of before all Inazuma, and the Raiden Shogun nearly succeeds. But there's more than one way to face her damning eternity—perhaps even with the tools she intended to build it with.

Bennett thanks him no less than 10 times for the help and turns to submit his expedition work. He begins to walk away, presumably off to the Cathedral when Kaeya blurts out his name.
Kaeya asks the question before he can stop himself. The kid’s grown on him already. “Would you like me to give you some tips on handling a sword? I can train you myself.”
Bennett breaks into a wide grin, “If it’s no trouble then, Sir! But I have to warn you, my luck can be quite a handful.”
Kaeya internally rolls his eyes. The whole bad luck thing sounded like a load of bullshit, but for Bennett’s sake, he waves him off and says to meet him at the Favonius Headquarters in a few days.
Bennett shoots him an enthusiastic thumbs up paired with a grin, and Kaeya can’t help but shoot one back.

He remembers their family stargazing every weekend in the summer because it was his favorite and day trips to the snow to teach Kaeya how to sled. He remembers the three of them baking terrible, tooth-rotting cakes because those were Diluc’s favorite, at three in the morning, because Kaeya had woken up from a nightmare.
And then he forces himself to stop remembering, because he’s not sure that their family will be the same now.

“Fireworks, Kazuha. Fireworks! And fun festival games. And imagine the delicious treats. Of course, your cooking is great, but you could pick up some new recipes! As much as I love grilled fish, some variety every now and then would be nice.”
The two of them have decided to settle in a kind villager’s spare room for the night. Kazuha is sitting on the edge of his bed and polishing his blade. From the blade’s reflection, he can see Tomo lying on his back, waving his hands animatedly in a valiant attempt to persuade him.
“I think Tama likes the grilled fish,” he offers as a reply, not looking up from his weapon. “I can’t disappoint her, can I?”
He hears an indignant huff. “Tama, help me convince Kazuha to let us go to Inazuma City.”
Kazuha hasn’t returned to Inazuma City in years, but he agrees to visit the summer festival with Tomo.

Childe has a Geo Vision. He will not let that distract him from stealing the Geo Archon’s Gnosis.

All those recipes, and not a single one works out. But Hu Tao isn’t deterred easily.

Albedo rushes up to her, easily picking her up and heading towards her room. “Hey! No, let me go! Mister Swan said Kaeya was hurt!” She protests, and almost kicks at Albedo’s chest before he puts her down swiftly in the middle of her room.
Albedo runs a hand through her hair, and she can feel it shaking. “Stay here. I’ll be back for you in a bit, yeah? Just gotta take care of some things. Can you do that for me?”
“Okay.” Obviously, she's not going to do that for him. Klee is now on a quest to one, find kaeya and see what happened to him, two, fix him up, somehow. That's what a little sister should do for her big brother.

Alternatively, Kaeya gets stabbed, Klee thinks she's a god, which is definitely Venti's fault, Albedo is stressed but put together, and Diluc is in desperate need of therapy. Klee takes it upon herself as a god to see to it that Kaeya heals, her big brothers stay safe (and in love), and Diluc gets the help he desperately needs with working things out with Kaeya.
