Leo would do anything, and by anything, he meant anything, to be skinny.
He watched as his siblings made their way over to the dining hall. Whispering amongst them. Would it be a barbecue today? Pasta? Pizza? Would they take custom orders for once?
The bright blue, sunny sky seemed dull to him. It was the middle of summer, and Camp Half Blood was in full swing. Campers laughed between themselves, sharing inside jokes and memories that they would hold forever. They climbed the lava wall and missed the bullseye in archery training. None of them had to worry about how they looked. They were perfect, beautiful people who were strong, fit and healthy. Unlike him. He wasn’t strong. Wasn’t beautiful. His personality was shot to shit. The least he could be was skinny.
Leo’s lungs couldn’t seem to get enough air. They were heading to the dining room.

In short, Leo has an eating disorder, and all that his friends can hope for is for his recovery.

Percy leaned against the basin heavily when Jason set him down, breathing in and out through his nose and screwing his eyes shut so hard he was sure he was going to pop a vein. Jason closed the door behind him and started shrugging off his things, pointedly trying to ignore the river of blood sprouting from Percy's thigh, just above the back of his knee, piercing his pants.
“You want me to… pull it out.” Jason mused, more to himself than to Percy, mentally preparing himself for what he was about to do.
“I'll explain when you yank it out, just– do it.”

If he said he would meet you at one, he arrived at twelve-fifty with a smile already prepared. If he was detained, some explanation—charming, elaborate, faintly improbable—would arrive in his stead. Silence did not belong to him.
When Gatsby fails to show up to lunch, Nick gets worried and goes to check on him. Turns out Gatsby's business is more dangerous than Nick knew.
