The first Yagami whom L meets is Monika, eldest child and recent FBI Academy graduate. The second is Soichiro, patriarch and Chief of Japan's NPA. The third is Light, middle child and detective-hopeful. If Monika knows one thing for certain, it's that if L keeps bringing up that stupid "rule of three" to try and accuse her baby brother, Kira's gonna have to get in line to kill the World's Greatest Detective.
Alternatively;
Monika Yagami has had her badge for three weeks when she's hired by L to catch Kira. While she's glad to see her family again, it puts a damper on things when she has to keep an eye on her baby brother, aka L's number one suspect. As the investigation continues, Monika notices changes in Light that can't be explained by puberty, and has to grapple with the fact that he might truly be a murderer. -
