Summary
“Behind you, slug,” Dazai said, his voice low enough for only those closest to them to hear. Apparently not low enough, because Kunikida’s disapproving frown is enough to scare small children or maybe Atsushi.
Dazai felt a prick of self-consciousness being the only one standing in a room of nearly a dozen people. He stood far enough back to not tower over the chibi but was still in arms reach. The room isn’t that big after all. He can also see Fukuzawa’s expressions perfectly from his perch. Dazai knows Fukuzawa can also see his every facial expression whether it was intentional or not. Dazai might be very involved in this meeting or not at all.
“Nakahara Chuuya,” Fukuzawa spoke as the room settled into silence. You could hear a pin drop or the slightest squeak of a chair wheel. “What brings you to the Agency?”
Dazai saw more than heard Chuuya take a deep breath. “I would like to formally request to join the Agency."
Or: Mori decided he had enough of Chuuya.

Summary
Most people didn't manifest the mark of their soulmate right away. Oh, sure, it happened – it had happened with Lucifer, before anyone had known what a soulmate even was, before anyone had realised such a thing was possible for angels – but it was pretty uncommon.
And it was absolutely possible for it to break – or fade. It was pretty unlikely on Earth, hardly ever happened during the span of a regular human life – but when the souls in question were immortal? Yeah, sometimes things changed. Relationships grew distant, love degraded. Once you'd experienced the bond fading – or worse, breaking? – no, most people were a little wary about throwing themselves into a new relationship.

Lucifer has experienced having a soulmate. Alastor has never been interested in the concept. Something is dreadfully wrong, because Lucifer is seeing shadows move out of the corner of his eye - and Alastor's claws are glowing golden.

Summary
Charlie was practically vibrating with excitement, her smile so wide it was threatening to split her face in two. The hotel lobby was buzzing – she certainly wasn't the only one pacing or wringing her hands.
Angel looked a little nervous, obsessively combing through the feathers on Husk's tail with his fingers. Husk had grumbled about it – but eventually gave up trying to bat Angel's hands away. There were too many of them for him to counter. Now he was sitting, arms crossed, flicking through his phone with pointed disinterest.
He clearly didn't expect to receive any visitors.

Summary
After seven years, Heaven has learned of Lucifer's divorce from Lilith. Knowing of Lucifer's reputation as an 'absent king' and fearing a destabilized Hell, they decide to gift him with a new bride - an angel of their own to distract him and keep an eye on him; a puppet. He is gifted Alastor, Heaven's least favourite angel, to be the sacrificial lamb in the Devil's marriage bed.
Alastor was never sure how he made it past the pearly gates, but he's swallowed down his bitterness to be a gentleman and avoid putting shame on his mother's name in Heaven. Now promised to another against his will, Alastor resolves not to go quietly into marital servitude.

Summary
Every so often, Charlie got a new idea for a way to promote the hotel.
It had started with her insistence on them all participating in her Halloween photos, which wasn’t a holiday Lucifer had ever spent much time thinking about. Completely valid, in his opinion – what did he need to track harvest festivals for in Hell?
But Charlie had explained that humans had pretty much forgotten the roots of it – big surprise there – and mostly used it as an opportunity to dress up in a fun costume and have parties. The costumes could be scary, sexy, silly – there honestly didn’t seem to be any hard and fast rules. And Lucifer was really only here to support Charlie and make her happy (though the odd connection he’d made with her bellhop didn’t hurt) – so he’d gone along with her ideas.

The holiday photoshoots were a fun idea, in Lucifer's opinion - but what happens when Charlie gets it into her head to participate in pride month?

Summary
Alastor is taken on a date to Ozzie's at the Lust Ring and expects nothing but a quick play for the gallery to alleviate Lucifer's concerns about his well-being after his rescue and subsequent healing. It all goes to Hell (pardon the pun), once the host himself notices them and starts sticking his beak where it doesn't belong.
