Summary
John F. Walker was a lot of things. A father. An ex-husband. A patient. A yet-to-be-caught serial killer. A miserable, miserable, starving artist.
His desperation to escape his past brought him to a new life bordering the city and a dead-end small town. The last thing he thought he’d be doing was getting tangled up in a few murders that are a little too similar to the ones he committed years ago. The last thing he thought he’d be doing was mingling with a group of misfits hell-bent on solving these murders.
The last thing he thought he’d be doing was getting close to a younger writer named Bob, who seemed to like him just a little too much.“You…” The man muttered, but abandoned that train of thought. Instead, he gave a harmless smile. “It's nothing. Just a little discount for the new guy. Welcome to Fort Lawson.”
The man held his hand out for a shake.
“I’m Robert. Bob.”
John didn’t smile. He didn’t shake his hand. His hands stayed firmly in his pockets, his eyes never left Bob’s.
“John.”
Bob wasn't phased.a.k.a. John stopped killing a while ago, but the murders are still happening. Also, he keeps getting the attention of a certain pretty boy.

Summary
John could do it once, twice, three times with Bob and still say that it didn’t mean anything. It was a mutual understanding between the two of them that it was just a way to relieve their urges. They were grown men. Whatever they did behind closed doors stayed behind closed doors.
Well, it’s definitely been more than three times. Actually, if he wanted to get technical, they had sex around 15 times that week. But John didn’t want to get technical. He wanted to keep saying it didn’t mean anything.John’s libido is terrifying, no thanks to the serum, so he has to rely on Bob, who has a weirdly high stamina. But having sex all the time isn't a healthy coping mechanism.

Bob's brows furrow then, making his eyes squint by default, before he looks down at John again, and tilts his head to fully convey his utter confusion. "Then...why are we awake right now?"
John closes his eyes for a moment at that, to gather his thoughts, before he ultimately says fuck it, and says it like it is, "Because you're hard, Bob."
In which Bob has trouble waking up by himself, and so, from time to time, he's made it a habit of walking into the others rooms to sleep with one of them for the night. Emphasis on sleep. John, however, happens to be the exception to this, much to his growing frustration and dismay.

John Walker was a normal guy.
Besides being a super soldier, a failed hero, disregarded by everyone and ridiculed, then joined Thunderbolts... he was normal.
Even the guy he was sleeping with was normal. Used to be a drug addict, almost killed everyone on the planet, put him in a shame room where he almost killed himself.
His life was normal. That is, until his lover has an accident where he turns into a baby for two days?
That wasn't as normal as John hoped for.
