Summary
Bob's brows furrow then, making his eyes squint by default, before he looks down at John again, and tilts his head to fully convey his utter confusion. "Then...why are we awake right now?"
John closes his eyes for a moment at that, to gather his thoughts, before he ultimately says fuck it, and says it like it is, "Because you're hard, Bob."
In which Bob has trouble waking up by himself, and so, from time to time, he's made it a habit of walking into the others rooms to sleep with one of them for the night. Emphasis on sleep. John, however, happens to be the exception to this, much to his growing frustration and dismay.

The not mystery person then wakes up. John Walker doesn’t leave that bed for a long time.
But afterwards he starts to learn. Maybe he still does deserve some good things in his life. Maybe some rules should be broken.

Bob was a great guy, he was earnest, he knew how to follow a recipe, he was the only one on the team that didn’t make fun of him, and he was cute… not that John thought he was cute, just like in general, objectively, Bob was cute, like a wet dog in the rain.
So, Bob was a great guy, and he’s already weird for sticking with them when John is sure anybody would love to take care of him if they took one look at his deep blue eyes, messy lock and pitiful demeanor. However, John was getting concerned because he’s been sticking especially close to resident Bootleg Captain America (Bucky’s words).
