Hermione ignores Harry's warnings about the long journey through the Azkaban desert and ends up stranded in the scorching heat. Luckily for her a gorgeous mechanic comes to the rescue and tows her to the quiet, small town called Spinner's End. When Hermione learns she will have to stay a few days before her car gets fixed, she isn't too upset seeing as she gets to spend those days in Bellatrix's company.

Mostly because... well, she's a Black, but also because she's a figure skater and hockey players and figure skaters don't mingle.
When Narcissa loses her partner for the upcoming competition, Andromeda looks to Hermione for help. Only, Hermione has never even done a lift in her life and she'd rather not have her friends know she's betrayed them to skate with the woman of her dreams.
