Summary
Michael Clifford is the newest and biggest name in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Outranking dozens of fighters and known around the world for his ability to annihilate everyone in the Lightweight class within the first few minutes of every match, he’s a force to be reckoned with. But there’s talk outside the ring, and apparently, sponsors don’t want to support someone who uses years of pent up rage to his advantage anymore.
Calum Hood hasn’t set foot in the ring for years, much preferring to find his solace in reruns of old fights and a constantly diminishing supply of Vicodin. Theoretically, he should be the absolute last person the UFC officials ask to train Michael.
And yet.

And just like that, Calum gets it.
God, of course. Why else would their daughter have come all the way down to their room at a quarter past ten, looking like she’s been trying to work up the courage to do so for hours?
“Holy shit.” Calum grins, practically vibrating with excitement. “Fuck, Mike, she’s going on a date.”
Or, Bella has her first date. It's a bigger deal for Michael than even Michael was anticipating for it to be.

Summary
It’s Valentine’s Day, and Michael and Ashton have erased each other from their respective memories, along with the entirety of the last two years they’ve spent together.
However, sometimes erasing past mistakes only means you’re ultimately doomed to make the same ones all over again.

Summary
Michael starts up a no-strings relationship with one of the dancers at the club where he works. Almost a year later, he’s still not entirely sure how they wound up where they are, but he figures it’s probably time he and Calum finally address the question they’re both dying to ask:
“So, what are we?”

Summary
Michael just shrugs. “I wanted to see you.” And God, the worst part of confessing that to Calum is that it’s true.
Michael wants Calum more than he’s ever wanted anything in this world, and that’s what’s killing him faster than the drugs are.
Or, Michael's side of the story. For however brief a moment.

Summary
Michael's still devastatingly beautiful, is the thing that sucks the most. His eyes still glisten when the sunset reflects against them, and the way his porcelain skin looks coupled with the ocean visible through the passenger side window makes Calum want to run his fingers over the boy all over again. Michael's touch isn't something he ever thought he'd want to feel again, but in this moment, Calum can't think of anything he's ever yearned harder for.
Or, Calum goes back to his hometown with the intent to attend a high school reunion, but what he gets instead is a second chance at love.

Summary
Calum’s heart sinks a little bit, and he's not entirely sure why. Maybe it's because he's allowed himself to fall victim to Michael's seduction yet again, or maybe it's because he's disappointed in himself for being so willing to try something that could so easily be dangerous. Or maybe, the most likely of all, it's because he can hear Mali's voice in his head telling him how stupid he's been to have found himself—quite literally—backed against the wall like this, with a boy he barely knows whispering dirty promises into his ear when he doesn't even know the first thing about real relationships.
Or, Calum spends a night with the boy that smells like smoke, and as it always is with bad addictions, he keeps getting sucked right back in.

Summary
He thinks it should feel wrong, kissing Calum here in the dark, when the thousand dollars he paid to have this is sitting neatly in its envelope just feet away. But it doesn’t feel wrong, not at all. In fact, it feels unnatural not to be kissing Calum.
Or, more simply, Michael falls in love with a prostitute.

Summary
He reaches out, tracing it with the pads of his fingers. “The shop named after this?”
Michael shrugs, not really an answer, but Luke doesn’t mind the lack of response when Michael rolls over the console, knees splaying out on either side of Luke’s hips, grasping the back of his neck and kissing him into the seat.
Or, they hook up in the car before their first date, and it may or may not be the hottest thing Luke's ever experienced.

Summary
“You haven’t been in for weeks. You were supposed to come in so I could check your lip.” Michael scolds, and it’s honestly the last thing Luke expected him to say. He misses the flirting, he wants it back.
“Yeah, well, I’m here now. Maybe you can come over here and check it for me.” Luke bites his lip, making sure to run his tongue over the black metal in his lower lip. Michael’s eyes are honed in on the movement, and Luke can’t help but smile, knowing he fascinates the red haired boy like this.
Or, Luke comes back to the tattoo parlor for a new piercing, and Michael is awfully excited to see him.

Summary
“S’not funny,” Luke spits.
“S’really fucking funny,” Michael replies effortlessly, wiping dampness from his eyes as he winds himself down, the occasional chuckle wracking his body. “Never had that reaction before. Surely you know people do that, right? Dick piercings are an actual thing.”
Luke rolls his eyes, because duh, he knew those kinds of body modifications existed, he just didn’t sign up for looking at pictures of other people’s penises, thanks.
Or, Luke gets his lip pierced, and Michael is the technician that does it for him.

Summary
In which Michael is reeling from a recent breakup, Calum has just flunked a semester of university, Luke has never taken a risk in his life, and Ashton has taken too many.
One night, four boys, one Los Angeles bar. A recipe for...well, quite possibly, not disaster.
(or, they all meet at a bar and fall hopelessly in love for the night. Only, it's actually a lot more than that.)

Summary
It's not that he has, like, a crush on Michael, or whatever. Because he mostly doesn't. It's just that sometimes, when they're all domestic like this on the Saturday mornings they share exclusively, he feels like he does.
(or, Michael has one night stands on Fridays, and in order to avoid confronting them the next morning, he goes to Luke's apartment for breakfast and a bit of conversation.)

Summary
And it's kind of in that moment, when they're just staring into each other's eyes, that Luke realizes he might be in love with the older boy. Well, maybe not love. But he definitely likes him a whole lot and just wants to slot their lips together with a final push forward but then he remembers Michael has just been through a break up, and that just wouldn't be right.
Except now Michael is making that push forward himself, and Luke sort of forgets his inward conflict because he's willing to take what he can get when it comes to his best friend.
-or-
The one where Luke and Michael are best friends that use each other for sex, but two totally different reasons, and eventually it turns toxic for everyone involved.

Summary
Normally, Luke wouldn't think twice about it, because quite a few people went jogging in his neighborhood, but the guy was shirtless, and he looked damn good.
It became a bit of a habit after that, part of Luke's morning routine. Wake up, make coffee, turn on the news, watch the hot shirtless neighbor running by instead of the news.
