Summary
A story of imperfect motherhood...
This is a fic that is heavily inspired/build upon the AU stories written by @sundaisies (up until about Chapter 7-8). I highly recommend you read her series ("You are Flesh and Blood and Deserve to be Loved") before these. They're excellent and it gives a lot more backstory as to how they developed a relationship, and how they're here now.
This story starts post-rescue after Hannah takes Natalie back to the US from the hospital in Canada where she was for a few months recovering from near starvation and Shauna shooting her. In this AU, Hannah also has custody of Alex.

Enjoy!

Summary
Shauna Shipman refuses to indulge. In anything: not relationships, or regret, or wondering where Jackie Taylor went twenty-five years ago. The answer, sitting freshly twenty and utterly confused in her bedroom in Wiskayok, doesn’t bring her any satisfaction anyway.

Summary
“Sheesh. What reason does she have to stock up this much?”
Shauna rolls her eyes. She’s used to Jackie taking the piss at Taissa for all the bickering they do together, but it’s taken directions she doesn’t like much ever since Tai presented at the start of senior year. “I literally have the same amount of sups with me. It’s Nationals regulations to have an extra full dosage on hand,” Shauna says. “Didn’t Coach have you read the folder?”
Jackie does her pout-shrug combo. “I got one but it felt kinda pointless, you know. Doubt I’ll swing any one way at this point. You beat me to that fair and square, Shipman.”or
