Summary
After Aerion Targaryen is defeated during the Trial of the Seven, his father devises a harsher punishment than simply sending him off to Lys. He rules that his wayward son, the only omega of House Targaryen, will be given in marriage to Ser Duncan the Tall, newly enobled and enriched by the king.
Forced into wedlock with the man who bested him, Aerion has to battle with his own guilt and rage, as well as the budding emotions building up between him and his foe.

Basically, Grace gets exposed to a dangerous amount of radiation during an EVA and doesn't want to tell Rocky bc of what happened to Rocky's crew <3
THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.

Though he tried to forget him, Aerion finds himself consumed by memories of the strong alpha who shared his heat with him and changed his life forever. When his father insists that Aerion choose a mate, or the decision will be made for him, he comes up with a plan that may be more foolish than clever. He insists that they hold a tourney at Summerhall, and that the winner will be granted his hand in marriage. Though reluctant, Maekar agrees. But for Aerion, the stakes are far higher. Because he knows he is with child, and if he can't convince the hedge knight to fight and win his hand, then he'll lose far more than his freedom.

“You really have no shame,” he said. “Say please, beast, and I’ll consider.”
After having fought with Prince Aerion in the puppet tent, Duncan is brought before the council to be judged. Though, instead of a trial by combat, or death by hanging, he is made a knight of the Kingsguard - to keep Aerion in his place, and to perhaps even make a friend of him.
