Tydus sat alone in the corner of your bedroom, the glow of her rose-etched sword casting faint pink light across the closet door. She clutched one of her beloved pods like a talisman, her knuckles white against the tiny orb of magic and soap.
“I should be stronger than this,” she whispered to herself, voice shaking. “A warrior, a guardian... but I don’t even know if I’m me. I don’t even know if I’m—”
The closet door slammed open. Out stepped Tina, her heels clicking against the floor with the rhythmic irritation of a metronome set too high. Her earrings jingled mockingly as she crossed her arms.
“Oh my god,” Tina scoffed, rolling her eyes hard enough you could practically hear it. “Are we seriously doing this? Another identity crisis? What’s next, you going to write sad poetry about it on my staff paper?”

the bad kids were a great adventuring party, adaine thought. not only did they work well together in combat, but they were always there for each other—if one of them was going through a hard time, the others were there for them even if comforting was their weak point (cough fabian cough). they were the best friends that adaine could have ever asked for in her life, and she wouldn't trade them for anything else.
sometimes, however, they were so infuriatingly oblivious that adaine wanted to strangle all of them.

Keeping the Doctor still is like trying to catch stars in a bottle, Clara thinks. He’s something that just can’t be contained, his energy spilling over, electric and crackling and begging to be back in the sky.
Which is a bit of a problem, considering he and Clara are currently stuck in a sub, miles and miles down under the sea.
(A follow up to the Series 7 episode, Cold War, which ends with the Doctor and Clara being trapped on a submarine until they reach the TARDIS at the South Pole.)

They should have discussed it more.
Wasn’t that what humans did? Spend weeks and months talking about what sort of home they want, what sort of life, dreaming of what moving in together will be like. Making sure their dreams matched up, their expectations.
They didn’t buy cottages – in the middle of a forest, no less, half a mile from the nearest village – without considering questions of…of hobbies, and use of space and…and living arrangements. They certainly didn’t take such a step without…defining their relationships.

And every time after that, the accidental brushes, the few moments of tolerating social norms, Aziraphale pulled away as though electrified, as though Crowley’s touch could taint him. And Crowley didn’t want to do that, so he let him, and he never said anything, and he pretended it didn’t ache to feel like something repulsive.
