He’d caught a whiff of it by the docks where the stench of the city had mostly wafted out on the ocean breeze. The smell of burnt sugar poked through the murky coagulation of brine and sea salt like a needle through linen, subtle yet sharp and undeniable.
Omega.
And not just any omega, one that was on the verge of heat. Matt estimated he had maybe an hour before they were in the thick of it, and an omega in that state at the docks this late at night didn’t bode well. His worries only increased as the sweet scent soured with distress, intertwining with another hauntingly familiar scent.
Kevlar and gun smoke.

That is of course, until their best friends decide to get married and force them into the same room for their entire wedding week. Remus and Sirius decide to play along, and to get back at them they pretend to be in a relationship to prove to everyone how wrong it would be just to stop their nagging. It's the perfect plan, pretend to be together for an entire week in the South of France surrounded by all their best friends. What could go wrong?

He tracks Dex around the kitchen by the vibrations of his footsteps. He goes from the sink to the cooler to put away the left over food in the fridge, puts the gun-grease rag in the laundry hamper, puts his gun in its case and stashes it back under the couch. Everything gets put back exactly how it was before they left, and only then Dex comes to sit on the couch a few feet from where Matt’s on the floor basking in the fan’s cool air.
you know when you come back inside from a really hot day and the transition from hot bright outside to cool dark inside makes you like. lag for a second. just me?

SHIELD, the government, the army. Another system pretending to make change while changing nothing. Hesitating at the precipice, and then taking three safe steps back. Daredevil and Dex have been playing a game of cat and mouse ever since Daredevil prevented Dex from attacking Wilson and Vanessa Fisk at the boxing match. As Dex starts to get bored just going after AVTF agents, he sets a trap to fight Daredevil face to face again. When the fight takes an unexpected turn, Dex brings a half-dead Daredevil back to his apartment to fix him up.
