He looked away. The thought never really crossed his mind. Why did he find his roommate cute? Maybe he just thinks he’s cute and nothing else. But he knows there was something more than just a stupid thought. He knows he wants this guy to be his lover.
“I don't…” He paused, taking a long breath. “I never really thought I'd have to tell you, since… I just… wanted to keep it a secret.”
“... Secret?”
“Well- yeah. Obviously I wouldn't just… Randomly tell you about what I'm… thinking of you, ya know?” He said, “Don't wanna ruin the vibe.”
Red laughed, “What, you're telling me you find me cute and you don't even wanna tell me that? Why?”
He hummed thoughtfully, “Dunno. Thought you'd find it weird, I guess.”
“I- I mean, it’s a surprise, but I don’t find it…weird. Like… pop off, man.”
His eyes dart back at him, confusion flows through his mind. Why is his roommate encouraging him to tell him he’s cute? It feels strange, he’s pretty sure he’d thought it’s weird. He was sure that Red wouldn’t like it. But he’s drunk, so maybe it’s just that.
