Bucky licks his lips and nods. Fury lets out a deep breath and leans back in his chair in a movement that’s terrifyingly controlled but spills danger out the edges.
“Twenty years,” Fury says slowly, taking special care to imbue each word with his personal brand of bone-chilling judgement. It used to make Bucky quiver in his boots back when he was a baby S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. “In that time, I have asked, threatened, coaxed, and damn near begged this man to work for us, or at least with us, and what finally gets it done is your dick?”
“Ass.”
“Excuse me?”
“Listen, I’m not saying any part of my anatomy is what persuaded Commander Rogers to agree to this, but hypothetically, if that’s what did it, let’s just say he would have found my ass far more persuasive than my dick.” Bucky pauses, secretly relishing the sour-lemon look on Fury’s face. “It still hurts, in case you’re wondering.”

Steve tries to seduce Bucky over to the dark side. But the Avengers are more grey than dark, and it’s still a paler shade of grey than what S.H.I.E.L.D’s got going nine times out of ten. Bucky really should be more concerned about the seduction part.Series

Two weeks ago Bucky got his Mark.
The Mark being: A thing that appears on one’s body and shows them via destiny who their future Mate is supposed to be. It’s a stupid system, in Bucky’s opinion.
He’s fifteen years too late, already declared an Unmarked Omega on his license, doomed to a life without a Mate but content with it, and he got his fucking Mark.
Of course, because the universe likes to screw with Bucky in more ways than one, he already knew who his mate was: Steven fucking Grant Rogers, his best friend. Who, at the time, was on his last tour in the Sandbox.

But all that changed when Bucky Barnes, his now pregnant omega mate, entered his life and helped him lead a colony of survivors. Now, Bucky's due at any moment, and as Steve prepares for a future he never thought he'd be able to have, he's realizing that hope tastes way better than fear ever did.
This is a sort of fluffy/dramatic one-shot I wrote, with a zombie apocalypse, the Avengers as human beings without powers and Steve and Bucky being in love while expecting twins. Because this is what happens when I get a wild idea and roll with it. :) I blame no one. :D
