Summary
Wanting, Jaeyun knows, is supposed to be private.
This does not feel private at all.
He wants Sunghoon to see him. Not in the abstract, indulgent way one sees a student or a guest or someone pleasant enough to be tolerated. He wants Sunghoon to register him as specific. As someone who might be remembered after summer loosens its hold and everyone returns to their real lives.
Summer will end. Everything does.
And yet, even as he practices caution, something in him leans forward anyway, reckless and hopeful, toward the possibility of being undone.
Or: Sim Jaeyun goes to Italy to work on his thesis and instead develops a deeply inconvenient infatuation to his married host.

Summary
In the gilded heart of Korea's royal palace, Prince Yang Jungwon reigns with a presence both magnetic and intimidating. To the world, he is the epitome of nobility, a man whose charisma inspires reverence. His desires, indulgent and exacting, command obedience, and none dare defy him. His love for art, a silent gift that's part of him.
Jongseong, known to the world as Jay, is a painter of modest renown, a man whose works carry the rare warmth of truth and passion, yet whose own life is shadowed by the cruelty of a household that sees him as nothing more than a means to an end. When news reaches the palace of Jay's talent, his parents greedily seize the opportunity to secure their own prosperity, dismissing his protests and forcing him into the gilded cage of royal expectation. Jay arrives at the palace under escort and is immediately confronted with Jungwon's demand. A portrait of a beloved, deceased feline.
In the sprawling palace, Jay finds himself suspended between obligation and defiance, resentment and fascination. Jungwon's gaze, at once piercing and inscrutable, lingers too long, awakening something Jay has never allowed himself to feel.

Summary
There’s never been any love between Riki and his dad. The man provides for him financially but that’s the extent of their relationship. As a child, he’d yearned for a more loving father, someone present, but he’s almost done with university and it’s been years. Honestly, Riki is so over wishing for a happy family.
But talk about trying to form one a little too late, in a fucked up way, because what do you mean his dad’s engaged? Riki’s only been gone for two months after attending an overseas dance workshop… what the hell does his old man think he’s doing, putting a ring on it with his sugar baby? To make matters worse, this Sim Jaeyun is only a few years older than Riki himself. Dear lord.
It’s outrageous, never mind he’s pretty. Really pretty in fact, from the inside out, that despite it all, Riki actually ends up liking Jaeyun—romantically.
