This does not feel private at all.
He wants Sunghoon to see him. Not in the abstract, indulgent way one sees a student or a guest or someone pleasant enough to be tolerated. He wants Sunghoon to register him as specific. As someone who might be remembered after summer loosens its hold and everyone returns to their real lives.
Summer will end. Everything does.
And yet, even as he practices caution, something in him leans forward anyway, reckless and hopeful, toward the possibility of being undone.
Or: Sim Jaeyun goes to Italy to work on his thesis and instead develops a deeply inconvenient infatuation to his married host.

Jay opened his eyes out of frustration. Or maybe he opened his eyes just to open his mouth and scold the younger alpha who had bothered him three hours ago—but no words came out. With an incredulous sigh, Jay sat up and kicked the covers off himself, bracing himself mentally.
“We really need to fix that fucking alarm. I don’t think I can get up more than once in the middle of the night just to turn off that shitty thing…”
“Hyung. Please just go turn that shit off.”
Jay turned his head to scowl at Sunghoon, but the younger alpha could not have given less of a fuck. It was unfortunate, really—the fact that Jay had been woken up twice: the first time to play a cursed game of League of Legends with Sunghoon, and now again, forced to leave the warmth of his bed just to shut off that damn alarm in their dorm.

“That’s exciting, hyung,” Sunoo claps, also eager knowing that he’ll be next in line after Jake, “How do you feel?” He turns to the Australian.
Jake shies a bit under everyone’s attention but grins, “I’m really looking forward to it. Jay, you and hyung seemed different after you got back. Good different. I want that too.”

Jake was broke. His rent was late and he was getting to the point of owing money to loan sharks.
