A series of historical one-shots exploring the complex relationship between Germany and Prussia during the 19th century, following Ludwig as he grows from a young teen into adulthood. Canon-divergent! It's my creative playground where I experiment with story ideas (especially re character development). I’m currently working on my first long-fic like ever, which will explore the same time period and concept, but in greater depth, giving the characters and their motivations, their wants and needs and space to breathe.
What to expect here: Germany, still in his adolescence and struggling to define himself, yearns for recognition as his own nation — but Prussia has other plans. Determined to mold the boy into his ideal vision of a nation-state, Prussia exerts relentless pressure, stifling any spark of independence or revolutionary thought before it can take root. Yet, quiet character moments happen - even between these two bullheads.
Tags and warnings will be updated as needed. I try not to over-tag, so I choose tags that best reflect the overall theme of the one-shots. Most one-shots are high tension and conflict-loaded. Characters appearing differ from story to story.
