Summary
For Andrew, the only downside of being blind is that he can't post his secret poems anymore, but it's just for 100 days, so he can live with that. He doesn't need help at all.
For Neil, life is as good as it can be, but when he finds a discarded ad to help a blind boy to type on his computer, Neil will jump at the opportunity of having a normal meeting; for the first time in forever, no one will stare down at him before talking. Of course, he doesn't imagine that meeting Blind Boy will be anything but normal.
What Andrew doesn't imagine is that with a little help, life can have colors even if his world remains black.

Summary
After Neil dies in Baltimore, Andrew runs away grieving, hurting, regretting that he failed, and wishing he could've saved his nothing as he promised.
The last Andrew sees is a burst of color before appearing in a world where apparently, it's the year 2022, he's a figure skater, Aaron is a good brother, Kevin doesn't have tattoos, Betsy is his mother, and most importantly, Neil is alive.
Now, Andrew has to decide if he will fight to return to a life of sorrow without the man he loves, or if he will grab this weird second chance by the horns and live the best life that he could ever have.
Is it possible to find happiness in an ice rink after so much pain or is it just another pipe dream with an expiration date?

Well, met was stretching it too far. He just stared at the boy for days.
Andrew met Hot Guy “officially” six months later, during the National Academic League.
Hot Guy's hair was much shorter and dark blond this time. He was also a scurry math nerd that Andrew believed was only a trick from his brain.

There was something against his hand, a pressure he knew too well, a hand that fit so perfectly against his, making Andrew’s presence known, making Neil’s entire body relax, slowing his breathing a bit.
But before Neil could see the man at his side, it hit him.
He was starting to feel it, all around him.
Those white walls, the mattress he was in, the soft yet old sheets, the pressure on his arm. And finally, unmistakably, the regular and aggressive beeps, signs of a life that was his own.
