Five years after the war, Draco Malfoy has fought everything and everyone to get to where he is. Sure, his mental health might be shit, but he has a job and that's something, right? He thought that having an Auror drop in for a surprise inspection of his Potions' lab was bad enough, but why is the Auror wearing a glamour? And why is the custom potion he wants so urgent and shrouded in secrecy? When people start dying, Draco gets consulted for a case with none other than Auror bloody Potter.
Aka a semi self-indulgent fic where Draco is a very smart, broken, soft boy and Harry is a big bad Auror who actually kind of has his shit together... maybe. Probably not. A lot of people want to cause problems for them. But Harry has a bit of a 'thing' for saving people. And Draco definitely needs saving. But progress isn't linear and it's much easier to heal when you aren't entirely alone.
