Summary
After running from a foster family with their biological son, Damian Wayne, Dick was sure he’d be arrested. Or worse, killed by Ra's al Ghul.
Instead the world ended. Kinda.
The US Government Officials named it a virus; in reality it was a result of an unethical biomedical experiment.
As far as context goes, scientists had withheld information to individuals in the experimental group. Promising the pill they consumed would helping with weight loss, but inside the pill? A "trained" tapeworm.
Originally it had been a intestinal tapeworm, known parasites that absorb “nutrients being digested in the stomach.” Now they were "scientifically re-purposed" to absorb a certain amount of nutrients to prevent extreme weight loss. However, they hadn't expected the intestinal tapeworm find a way to travel to the brain.
The parasite should've destroyed the brain tissue, leaving both organisms dead. Instead, the parasite lives on as a host. Controlling the body in pursuit of more nutrients.
A zombie apocalypse, basically.

Summary
When Grayson cuts off contact with everyone he knows... they all become obviously suspicious of this. It gets to a point where concern evolves into panic, and it seems that no one is able to locate him. Only, they don't get a chance to worry about it for too long. He returns to Gotham after a week into spring, with nothing except a life threatening injury.
But as time passes, Jason can't pretend anymore. Especially when he knows for a fact that there's no way the person whose standing right beside him is Dick Grayson.
He's been dead. He saw him dead.
And as he's left to face the reality that this truly is an imposter, he is also finds himself unraveling. It finally registers that this summer that the very first robin is dead.
Still, he's unable to let go of a brother he didn't get a chance to have... but they need to get to the bottom of who the fuck that thing is. And maybe learn how to let go in the process.

Is this guy serious? Was the classroom’s collective thought. It wasn’t voiced aloud and Jason Todd continued to write without a care.
“I’m going to be spending most of my time here mentally breaking my nemesis, with the ultimate goal of screwing him over.” He draws a circle of what looks to be… a bat? or maybe something with horns?? He then crosses an x over the drawing.

The hum of Tim’s dual monitors filled his room, mixing with the harsh clacking of his mouse, and the occasional click on his keyboard. It wouldn’t be way more convenient to just buy more soundless equipment. Even with his headphones on, he could faintly hear how harshly he was handling his pride and joy. For a brief moment he fiddles with the wire that sticks out from the left side of the headphone. But it doesn't matter now, this was extremely important. And it needed his absolute concentration…
“FUCK” He shouted in frustration, ugh okay fine maybe Call of Duty Black Opps 6 didn’t really require his total concentration. But sue him! It was hard to really enjoy the game when your teammates are ranked.
A notification buzzed on his phone, lighting up the darkened screen. It only grabs his attention since the desk seemed to vibrate along with the phone. Tim sighs and lazily reaches over, expecting another group chat message. Instead, the unfamiliar name on the screen caught his attention. USername941383.
OR.. Tim gets a text. His Call of Duty is gonna have to wait because he can tell this text is just going to be worth 20-ish chapters of trouble.

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

Summary
It took Sam a while to notice it. Longer than he’d like to admit. But to be fair to himself, he had been watching for impulses of a more murder-the-world kind, not whatever was going on now.
It all really boils down to this: Dean styles his hair. Which Dean has always done, and Sam has always known. But the hair gel is no longer tucked away in the bottom of his duffel bag; it stays out in the open of the shared bathroom of the Bunker, and Dean doesn’t hide what he’s doing if Sam walks in.
“Heya Sammy,” Dean greets happily, running a hand through his hair.
“Hi,” he says back, nervously watching Dean’s actions.
He’s looking in the mirror, and it’s not until he stopped that Sam realizes Dean’s always flinched at his reflection.
