Dream waited, like he would be able to say the words again without thinking. He looked down like the ground would swallow him whole right that moment. He ground his hands together like the slight pain could give him an excuse to go to the bathroom or something, but no such thing happened.
“Dream?” George’s hesitant voice broke through his mind-barrier.
“You don’t have to tell us,” Sapnap began, his hand landing on Dream’s shoulder. “We can talk another time—“
“I’m trans.”

Lemon cookies reminded him of Dream.Though sure, the colors associated with the two both beamed yellow in his eyes, it was more. He wished that was all it was. They reminded him of Dream because of the juice. He always juiced his lemons or limes, even oranges by hand. It felt more real. He liked making things feel real while distracting himself from the world, to convince himself just for a while that this was the real world.

George looked up and couldn't believe what was there waiting for him. In front of him stands the boy who he’s hated for years right in front of him with a bouquet of what looked like blue and yellow flowers.
Dream must have seen him staring at the flowers because Dream does a little low laugh and spoke up, “Blue and yellow. I made sure to get the colors that you could see.”
There it is, a huge smile on his face. A smile that was so bright that it blinded him, sickened him with how big it was. He usually smiled at George, but this smile... George almost thought it was cute. Almost.
Or, George meets Dream, a space obsessed kid and hates him all his life, but does he actually really hate him as much as he thought he did?

Steve wakes up battered and bruised in the back of his car missing memories of the last two days. He now has to deal with the life altering consequences of that weekend. But with the help of his chosen family (and a certain longhaired metal-head) he might be able to get there.
A hurt comfort fic that focuses on recovery from something horrific and unforgivable and finding that the family you need is sometimes already there for you. Even if you have to deal with annual apocalypses.
It’s also a romance.

Steve sighs and runs a hand through his hair. He digs his fingers into the bridge of his nose so hard his nails leave little indents in the sensitive skin there. Then, he lets out a heavy breath, types and hits send before he can overthink it for too long.
