Eddie doesn’t answer immediately, probably going through all the options Buck has already discarded, but he hopes that Eddie thinks of something new. Eddie hums thoughtfully, his eyebrows scrunching together in the way Buck knows means Eddie has thought of an idea he isn’t sure will work out but is willing to go all in on anyway, so he braces himself for what Eddie will say.
“Marry me.” Wait, what?
“What?” He didn’t hear that right, Eddie didn’t just ask him to—
“Marry me, Buck”
