DC has this tendency to keep making Nora Fries evil, revealing it to be "just part of her new personality" due to some forced brain chemistry change. Either that or it's heavily implied that was actually her personality from the start and she was just concealing it, which I don't believe is any better. I get a little [okay, a lot] tired of the "gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss" trope because it's typically extremely poorly written.
There's a person in there, one that Victor fell in love with; evidently one that he continues to be in love with. Screw the fridged significant other trope. They both deserve better. They've deserved better since the start; I'll die on that hill. Easily.
