it went from heart ache (poor harry) to heart warming (aberforth and harry's budding father and son relationship) to heart and gut wrenching deaths (fucking deaths of aberforth, its just too sad for harry hE WASN'T EVEN THERE AND AB HAD HIS BACK TO THE KILLER ALSKDJSLSJD FUCK YOU CANON BARTY CROUCH JR.) to some heart warming then deaths again then happy ending

05/02 - was too busy to read
05/03 - finally finally done reading this masterpiece. I love how there are multiple POVs (although not written in first person pov-way) because I get to see how each character felt during a certain scene (I love Harry and Draco the most, and I agree with the author, James doesn't shut the fuck up).

Summary
Harry decides he's done being a pawn for Dumbledore after the events that led to Arthur Weasley getting hospitalized. Instead of staying put and letting his guilt control him, he leaves, inviting Sirius to join him. He travels to Bulgaria where he meets up with Viktor Krum intent on transferring to Durmstrang.
His decision to leave sets off a chain of events that he never could have predicted, including a friendship with a boy he thought hated him.
After all, he didn't maintain friendships with the other competitors of the Triwizard Tournament so they could commiserate over what they experienced together. He's built a network of friends, and with the help of Sirius, Narcissa, and Draco, he's able to more forward and live a life he never thought he'd get to have.

definitely one of my fave hp rewrite. this is written beautifully. i love how harry was in slytherin and malfoys are good. i love how the canon is not too far but not the same, pertaining to the plot. too bad it's abandoned by sixth book, would've loved how cruel things can be (I can't believe Pansy DIED in the could've been final battle), but still, thank you for curbing our curiosity by dedicating a chapter for FAQs.
