Under Porsche’s disbelieving gaze, Pete’s hand slowly starts moving on his cock again. His face is blotchy with colour, one cheek redder than the other, and Porsche can feel his own cheeks growing hot with mortification too, as though he’s the one who was slapped—Kinn’s slapped him like that before, the kind of slap that’s more demeaning than painful, and the shock and reflexive shame of it had burned low in his gut, something awful and arresting he hadn’t dared to think of afterwards.

His hair is unstyled, pouring loose over one ear in a blue waterfall. Coffee’s brewing. Always sounds to Lio like someone pissing slowly into a container, but fortunately it smells a hell of a lot better.
Lio’s mind jump-cuts to the memory of Galo on one knee, low-lidded like he is now, nuzzling Lio’s hand with intent. His hand rushes with sensation like he’s just withdrawn it from a bucket of ice.

Lio learns—with Galo's rather more experienced help—that actually it's okay to Desire Things, even if those things might seem overwhelming at first.

An ever-so-slight lean into Galo’s side when they’re standing next to each other, looking at the chore assignments for the week in the Burning Rescue headquarters. The barest brush of cold fingertips against a bright orange jacket hem. Sitting a little closer than usual on the couch in the rec room. Resting on Galo’s back a little more than necessary when Galo gives him a ride on the back of his motorcycle after work.
Lio is always freezing. Galo is always warm. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the rest.

Lio, Meis, and Gueira are staking out the Foresight Pharmaceutical building from the lobby cafe the week leading up to their attack. Everything is going smoothly until a particular firefighter comes in and finds himself immediately infatuated with Lio. Driven by a blossoming crush, the firefighter approaches and makes conversation. Remaining anonymous from one another the entire time, an obvious spark ignites-- but despite how much Lio enjoys his company, he has to accept he'll never see the man again when it's all over.
Takes place canonically after Lio-hen/Galo-hen (slight spoilers), in the week leading up to the events of the movie. (Rated Teen+ because they say the f-word sometimes lol idk)

Anatomy was a mere suggestion compared to Lucia’s more technically proficient, lifeless illustrations. Galo’s drawing looked like it might leap off its page. She felt a burst of frustration. “I don’t think she needs your help,” Fotia says. “Come on, Thyma, let’s go.” He slings his arm over the girl’s shoulders and leads her down the hallway, not giving Galo another look. Now that he’s finally out of Galo’s personal space, Galo can see the immense pink triangle stitched to the back of his jacket.
“What’d I do?” he demands of their backs, gesturing angrily at the air. He helped, dammit! She was scared! He ran them off! What was he supposed to do!
Fotia glances over his shoulder, eyebrow raised. “Are you still here?” he asks, contempt dripping off his voice. “Better be careful. You might catch the gay.”
