Summary
Relationships are complicated. Matsuno Chifuyu learned that the hard way.
After almost losing the one person he truly gives a shit about, his outlook on love changes. He realizes that no matter how much he sacrifices for a person, they won't necessarily make those same sacrifices in return. And yet, despite everything, he loves Baji anyway and wants to stay by his side. He's probably a masochist for doing so, but he knows Baji is hurting just as much as him, even if he won't admit it.
Meanwhile, Kazutora is on the run after almost killing Baji, running away from his problems like he always does. He has no home, no family, no pack to belong to. And as if his situation wasn't shitty enough, Baji leaves him with a not-so-welcomed surprise. His life really was just some low-quality tragedy, wasn't it?
Or,
Kazutora is pregnant, Baji is ignoring his feelings for his two best friends, and Chifuyu really just needs everyone to communicate.

When he had reunited with Kazutora, he had thought that things would be different than last time. That he could actually save Kazutora this time.
He was wrong too.
Chifuyu despised Kazutora. He adored Baji. When everything falls apart on Bloody Halloween, he's left to pick up the pieces and tries to understand how their relationship had gotten so bad. He just wants everything to be better. Everyone does.
Or: Baji and Kazutora deal with the aftermath of Bloody Halloween and have a baby. Chifuyu is also involved with them because why wouldn't he be?

A few hours later Koko pants above him, begging him not to stop, while Inupi watches them with a little smirk.The thing is, Kazutora loves Baji. Platonically as a friend, romantically as a soulmate, sexually as the hottest person he ever laid his eyes on.
The thing is, Baji loves Kazutora. In all possible ways, from a desire to see him smile to a physical need to touch him as much as possible.
The thing is, they're both idiots, and one drunken impulsive one-night stand slaps this fact into their faces.
