This is a bad idea.
Buttons popped. Cords and ties and fastenings snapped and cast away as their hands cleared the obstacles in their path. He laughs when her claws tear through cloth the way a Sin-Eater’s fangs tear through flesh when she can’t get his undershirt off of him. Not even a scratch on his skin, that’s how good she is.
That’s how good he remembers her to be.

Emet-Selch's mate, his Azem, was lost to him thousands of years ago during the great sundering of Etheirys. Summoned back to the Source by Elidibus sometime after Lahabrea's defeat, Emet-Selch decides to take the rejoining into his own hands as he ventures to the First to set in motion a series of events that would result in another Umbral Calamity and rejoin the First to the Source. His plans go awry, however, when he discovers that the Warrior of Light is none-other than his long lost, beloved Azem. What will he do now that he knows his enemy is actually his long-lost soulmate? “Consciousness is the only thing that divides mankind from beasts, but if pushed to the breaking point they will become feral, working on those inner instincts as they throw their conscious thinking to the wind. And I relish in bringing a person down to their most primal form.”
His smile returned, small, but the pleasure behind his lips evident. He lifted his thumb from that curved hand to slide featherlight over her lower dry petal. “I am curious to see how far past the breaking point I can push you…”

Summary
After the events with Innocence, the WoL stays in her room for a while, contemplating her next course of action. She sneaks out and makes her way to Amaurot, hoping to find some sort of solace or comfort in her last moments.
"... Please just.. I just want someone to tell me it will be okay."
Emet nearly started laughing. She had come all the way here for this? For false reassurance?
"I imagine you want someone to hug you too, do you?" he questioned, his voice betraying his amusement.
The Warrior of Light said nothing, instead curling in on herself further.
"By Zodiark, you do! You came to me for this? You think I have time to waste on such trivial things?" he spat, the amusement now gone.

His gaze darts over the room and then pauses as he moves to uncork the bottle. His brows don't even furrow, and those dark, otherworldly eyes stare through the room at nothing until the cork slips free with a pop.
A soft sigh escapes his lips, and his gaze darts back to the desk.
A hand slips to the drawers again, pulling them out and drawing two wine glasses from within, placing them with gentle clinks on the table.
The wait is infuriating and terrifying in equal parts. You would never dare speak up against your Emperor, and yet you know he does this on purpose. As if to tell you, to remind you...
Your time belongs to him. Your everything belongs to him.
Set in a different era. The Warrior of Light infiltrates Garlemald as a courtesan to the Emperor Solus and feeds information to outside sources in an attempt to bring an end to the conflict and victory to those the Empire attempts to conquer. Only it turns out her secret is not so secret.

Slowly Lahabrea's head dipped, and as Emira felt the heated breath from his lips she winced, pulling her head back.
"Such transgressions can not be forgiven... You must atone..."
Slowly the Ascian's lips pressed against hers and Emira let out a shocked yelp. Her eyes bulged and her hands on Lahabrea's chest pushed but the attempt brought her nought, save for a chuckle from Emet-Selch as his lips descended against the crook of her neck.
"Now, now... Do't make this any harder than it needs to be... You must needs be punished, we're only holding you accountable..."
I blame two friends in particular who put a spitroast mental image in my head. They made me write this, indirectly.
