And, of course, it was home to Batman.
It couldn't be that bad.

And so one evening, standing at the edge of Ninjago Harbor beneath the eyes of the city that condemned him, Lloyd finally breaks. His voice shakes as he apologizes to a world that never wanted him, and he jumps. The water swallows him whole.

So why does it hurt so badly every time he's reminded of that?

or, Damian believes that nobody in the family loves him, and only talk to him because they have to. He eventually does learn the truth of his family's feelings.
