Summary
Prince Gon Freecss and his reluctant bodyguard, Killua Zoldyck, embark on a fake relationship to save them from predatory fae advances as they travel into the realm of Aiai. Gon has no idea Killua is only pretending to be human and is actually on the run from his fae family. Neither of them understand why Gon (who, despite being gifted, is definitely human) develops a mysterious knack for fae magic along the way. A group of magically talented murderers are travelling in the same direction and will kill them on sight. Even if Killua and Gon survive Aiai, they must eventually part, so falling in love is out of the question. Or so they both say, at the start.
Slow burn. Unconfessed love. Jealousy and possessiveness. Deepening friendship and desire.

Written for the 2019 Hunter x Hunter Secret Santa exchange ~ my gift to Spookblem! This may or may not have been partly inspired by Killua in the CA arc, when he rides a horse with Gon and stands or leans back on him - anything but sit and hug him.

Summary
Killua Zoldyck has been cursed by Illumi, the guardian mage of their village, for helping their sister Alluka flee execution. If he tries to cross the sea to join her, a storm will rise and he’ll drown. Disgusted by his people’s treatment of her, Killua has left the village to live alone.
That is, until he meets a shamelessly naked Gon Freecss, a handsome warrior from a race who live beneath the ocean. They fall in love and marry, though Gon can only spend half his life on land. Killua's one of the best in the assassin business. As the heir to the Zoldyck family, it should come as no surprise, even if he wishes he could just go to college and hang out with his best friend. But his spotless record has been affected by the appearance of a rival. A cockroach, one that knows more than they should, who threatens to force him back to his family and away from Gon. And Killua will do almost anything to keep his double life in its carefully maintained balance.

And a moment from touching him where Kurapika most wanted him to, needed him to, Leorio stopped. They paused there for a suspended moment, and then Leorio took his hand out of Kurapika’s boxers, and placed it on one side of his face, his other hand on the other. They were gentle, but firm, and Kurapika felt the cold, shipwreck sensation again in his guts. But he opened his eyes. He knew that there was no other choice.

High school AU. Leorio and Kurapika like each other, but neither is willing to be the first to admit it. Instead, they’ve spent a year engaged in a tedious game of cat and mouse that neither seems to be close to winning. Kurapika’s newest plan of action? Telling Leorio that he’s going to ask out the new guy, Gon. Too prideful to admit his feelings, Leorio bribes Killua to seduce Gon before Kurapika can ask him out. Killua initially declines, but it’s hard not to be interested in a boy who seems to be made of sunshine and flower petals. It gets even harder when Gon turns out to be a merciless flirt who thinks it would be fun to be seduced.
